Quality & Compliance

Structured process control, documentation discipline, and supplier qualification

Our Approach

ET & ED operates a structured procurement and documentation control framework aligned with the principles of ISO 9001.

While ET & ED is not ISO certified and does not represent itself as such, our internal processes are designed to reflect industry-recognized best practices in:

  • Supplier evaluation and selection
  • Technical documentation control
  • Traceability and revision management
  • Commercial review and risk awareness
  • Proportionate quality oversight based on project scope

Our approach is scalable and adapted to the complexity, risk profile, and contractual requirements of each engagement.

What This Means in Practice

1. Supplier Qualification

We engage with vetted upstream suppliers with demonstrated technical capability and commercial reliability.

Supplier selection is based on:

  • Proven supply history and performance record
  • Technical conformity to specification
  • Manufacturing or authorized distribution status
  • Alignment with project scope and delivery requirements

2. Documentation & Traceability

Material certificates, test reports, and traceability records are coordinated in accordance with project or regulatory requirements.

Documentation control includes:

  • Verification of part numbers and revisions
  • Alignment with client specifications
  • Retention of relevant supply records
  • Clear identification of manufacturer or source, where applicable

3. Process Control

Commercial, technical, and delivery terms are confirmed prior to order placement.

This includes:

  • Scope and quantity verification
  • Technical detail confirmation
  • Lead time and logistics coordination
  • Risk awareness relating to substitution or extended lead items

This structured review minimizes procurement errors and reduces downstream rework or delays.

What This Is Not

ET & ED provides structured procurement and documentation support.

For clarity, our scope does not include:

  • ISO certification consultancy services
  • Formal audit, certification, or third-party approval authority
  • Acting as a client’s internal procurement or compliance department
  • Independent QA/QC inspection or statutory verification services

Our involvement is proportionate to the commercial and technical risk profile of each engagement.
The level of documentation coordination and review scales accordingly.
